Follow the King

The Father did not respond to the cries of Jesus with rescue and salvation because it was the only way He could respond to our cries for rescue and salvation.

We don’t see what God is doing while we are walking in the wilderness. We only see what God has done when we look back at the wilderness.

When we understand what God has done FOR our children, we will be able to trust Him WITH our children.

Because of Jesus, one day all our working and weeping will come to an end—as His work offers eternal rest and His love wipes all tears from our eyes.

God did not save us so we could sit watching good things happen. God saved us to partner with Him in making good things happen.

Everything in our Bible is meant to point us to either Creation, the Fall, Redemption, or New Creation. When we read the Bible with ourselves at the center, we miss Jesus.

Understanding the Bible rightly requires one to keep in view the unfolding drama of God's redemption from Genesis to Revelation—and how our lives fit into the story our Creator and Redeemer is still writing for His glory.

When we try fitting God’s plans into our lives rather than fitting our lives into God’s plans, we focus on building our kingdom—rather than God’s kingdom. 

Those who seek to find the Christ will discover that not only was Jesus given unto you—but also Jesus gave Himself for you.

The Word became flesh and dwelt among men—so that God’s glory could tabernacle inside of men.
