The people of God are far from perfect, but Jesus is committed to walking with them. He works through broken vessels to bring healing and wholeness to His church.

Strike the Rock

How is it possible that a group of sinful people can gather together and sing of spending eternity in the presence of the perfect, sinless Creator of the world? How do sinners call the perfectly holy God their Father? How do those who deserve to face the eternal wrath of God experience present blessings—and await even greater blessings to come?

Only because the Christ, our Rock and King, suffered the consequences for the failures of His people. 

Bread of Heaven

Yahweh does not test His people to see if they are worthy of His gifts and grace—rather, He tests His people to see if they recognize Him as worthy to obey.

The second three plagues reveal Yahweh is active in the laws of nature and in the lives of His people. The third three plagues reveal Yahweh is a God with absolute power.

Our weapons of warfare are not our credit cards and our bank accounts. Our weapons of warfare are prayer, obedience, holiness, and a resolve to follow our King.
