Follow the King

"Love God" is the greatest command because God knows His love is the only perfect love we will ever experience—and we will only experience His perfect love when we express our imperfect love to Him.

The wilderness of barrenness often awakens our hearts to the place of fullness we have in Christ.

God does not command us to love Him so He receives our love. God commands us to love Him so we are open to receiving His.

Just as God instructed Adam in the Garden, Moses instructed Israel as they entered the Promised Land. However, our focus should not be on following the rules—but on following Jesus.

How is my life impacted by the fact that a Jewish man died, was buried, and rose from the dead 2,000 years ago?

The resurrection matters today because it proves Jesus can be believed, forces everyone to make a decision, and provides followers with purpose and hope.

Jesus needed to ride a donkey because He was determined to live in subjection to the Word of God. The life of Jesus is the way of life for His followers.

Yahweh’s work of salvation for Israel through the Passover Lamb in the Old Testament is directly connected to Jesus’ work of salvation for the world as the Lamb of God in the New Testament—because Jesus is Yahweh in the flesh.

Jesus did not rescue us so we could go to be with Him in heaven when we die someday. 

Jesus rescued us so we could be with Him and experience His glory as we live today.
